Welcome to the Grayslake Wrestling CluB


Our program focuses on skill development, discipline, character building and self-esteem. The GWC coaches bring experience, talent and passion to the mat at every practice and tournament, and are dedicated to bringing your youth athlete to the next level.

 2023-2024 WINTER SEASON ​

  • Open to boys and girls ages 4-14

  • No prior experience necessary

  • Runs from November to March

  • First Practice:  Monday November 6th for 2023/2024 Season

  • Practice Location: Grayslake Central High School Wrestling Room & Grayslake North High School Wrestling Room 

  • Practice (Subject to change based on enrollment):

    • Tots:  M/T/W/Th 6:00pm- 6:45pm @Grayslake Central HS

    • Bantams: M/T/W/Th 6:45pm- 7:45pm @Grayslake Central HS

    • Intermediates M/T/W/Th 6:30-8:00pm @Grayslake North HS 

    • Novice & Seniors M/T/W/Th 6:30pm - 8:30pm @Grayslake North High School  

  • Optional weekend tournaments most Sundays from December to March. More info to come as season begins. 

2024 FREESTYLE / GRECO SESSION REGISTRATION 

  • Season runs March 4 - July 3, 2024

  • Link to registration is now available here 

  • Registration opens: January 31, 2024

  • Birth certificate required for first year Grayslake Wrestling Club members

  • USAW Wrestling Membership required ($50 for new cards)

  • Fees: $350/Wrestler. $25 discount per additional wrestler

  • Payment plans available

  • Club Fee Includes:​

    • Club T-Shirt

    • Up to 4 practices per week

  • Practice Location: Grayslake North High School Wrestling Room 

    • K - 4th Grade:  M/T/W/Th 5:30pm- 6:30pm 

    • 5th - 12th Grade: M/T/W/Th 6:30pm- 8:30pm
